Pick Stitch/Prick Stitch
These are two different names for the same stitch. From a motion-based point of view, it is nearly the same as the Back Stitch. However, there is more distance left between the previous stitch and the that is being made. This stitch can be used decoratively.
Pick Stitch/Prick Stitch Version 2
Visually, this version is nearly identical to the previous style. However, rather than using a back stitch motion, it is worked with a running stitch structure. It takes more care, I think, to make this stitch even and attractive. But if speed is needed, It CAN (though isn’t always) the faster of the two versions.
